President Obama Building a Peaceful Future in Foreign Diplomacy
9/25/12
I think its completely appropriate that our Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton is handling the majority of discussions with foreign leaders at the UN conference. If the President is re-elected in November, Secretary Clinton will have a strong bid for the white-house in 2016. Secretary Clinton will have the 8 year obligation of dealing with ever-growing foreign conflict in the Middle Eastern region. (Conflict mostly over MONEY, OIL, and POWER, mind you.)
I give the President's opponent in this race credit for trying to capitalize on world conflict for his own future financial gain. Unfortunately I believe this election signifies a great change in our nation and possibly the decline of a major national party. The President has been responsible for fixing an economic crisis that our former President (Baby Bush) perpetuated.
As if fixing domestic issues was not a full plate for the Presidency, the presidency is now tasked with preventing another World Conflict (i.e. WW3) that will come strapped and loaded with nuclear weapons this time. I feel compelled to reiterated that this is a problem that our former President's FATHER (Bush Sr.) perpetuated.
What happens when foreign conflict begins to escape the middle east region? --when these hostile world leaders fiercely rebel against the patronizing nature of militaristic peace-keeping that comes along with the tea party's platform. This nation must focus on peace-keeping, but it must be conducted in a way that is diplomatically respectful and appropriate.
This election process has instilled a great deal of political angst within me. At the same time it has inspired me to take look my definitions of "Freedom, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness." It has caused me to evaluate how much power a man under government truly possesses. I have learned the power of influence, the power of respect, and the power of courage in your convictions. I'm passionate about whats at state in November, and I want to make sure everyone is not only informed, but an epistemological understanding of the facts.
