Freddie Grant (Prime Suspect) in the Gabrielle Swainson investigation

Doing some research on Gabbie Swainson investigation and there is a lot of evidence linking Freddie Grant to the murder but this investigation will remain inconclusive until the teen is found. There just isn't enough concrete evidence linking Grant directly to Swainson's disappearance.

Grant is most likely involved according to the evidence (cell phone tracking evidence places Swainson at Grants house on the night in question, and the duct found in Grant's home has Grant's DNA and Swainson's blood DNA.) This evidence places the two parties together, but does not provide a time line or a real understanding of motive.

Freddie Grant, a career criminal (see. charges listed below, is unlikely to provide authorities with information leading to the lost teen. William Woodard of Fort Clark Baptist Church spoke with WLTX and told reporters that he didn't believe that Grant would provide information to police authorities. Woodard said "He seemed to be kind of quiet and reserved, he kept to himself". He also remarked "Things started happening and then when his wife passed things went downhill". Grant's former wife, Ollie Raton passed in 2004 and there is no record of her cause of death.

Adrianna Laster, 28, of Florida last reported residing in Elgin, SC, was reported missing by Florida family in March, 2012. The last time she was seen was Septemeber of the previous year.

Daniel Wood found dead on Trinity School Road in Lugoff in October of 2011, 2 months after Andrianna Laster was last seen. Witnesses report that Freddy Grant were involved in a dispute over speculation of infidelity with Laster before he was found dead last October. More information will come as devolopments are made in this case.

Listed below are former charges by Freddie Grant 1988-1992 – Grant is arrested on multiple charges in Homestead and Miami, Fla., including: possession of cocaine with intent to sell or distribute, aggravated assault with a weapon, battery of a spouse and illegally carrying a concealed weapon. 1991-2008 – Grant is arrested on a number of charges in Richland and Kershaw counties, including: possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine, shoplifting and making false insurance claims. April 2011 – Grant is charged with criminal domestic violence against Adrianna Diana Laster, 28, of Homestead, Fla., by the Elgin Police Department. An officer at the scene saw a cut lip, bruises, welts and a long cut on her leg, which she said came from being dragged. She also said Grant poured fuel on her. Sept. 3, 2011 – Laster is seen for last time in Elgin; her family tells police in March 2012 she is missing. Aug. 18, 2012 – Gabrielle Swainson is reported missing by her mother. Tuesday – Grant is arrested in Swainson’s disappearance. Lott says Grant also is being questioned in Laster’s disappearance.
