For those of you that don’t know me personally, I’m Joey or as i’m known in the majority of the world, “JOSEF DREAMZ”. I was born and raised in Columbia, SC.  A majority of my following is from twitter at @Z3FSC (formerly JOSEFDREAMZ) with just over 40K Dreamerz  worldwide. I put my first mixtape “Live, Love, Josef” online via social media on March 15, 2012. Since then I’ve released ‘Rise of the PRODIGAL Son’, ‘PRODIGAL’, ‘Crew Love Dreamz’, ‘Broken Dreamz’, and the unreleased ‘realized.’ which is set to be released to commemorate the opening of ORGANIC MUSIC STUDIOS. 

Currently JOSEF DREAMZ is ranked #1 in Hip-Hop for the Columbia Metropolitan Area via the REVERBNATION charts. Currently I boast  7K plays on this social network alone. Not to mention over 13K plays on SoundCloud. Ok, ENOUGH BOASTING!!!

What is Organic Music Group and what is it about?

Organic Music Group was theorized and created by Josef Dreamz and Solo Moses. Solo Moses has worked for years managing and   executively producing local talent in the Tri-State (NC, SC, GA). Dreamz and Moses linked up and 2014 and came up with the idea to use the skills they have learned in the music industry to give back to the community and create high quality music, videos, and graphics in the Columbia Metropolitan Area. Our ultimate goal is to use our success in order to grow our own career interest meanwhile put ourselves in the position to create Organic change in the community around us. We want to be able to eventually offer classes and coaching to put people in our community back to work. We want to raise money and create  volunteer coalitions to combat hunger and homeless in our hometown. We also want to work to provide school supplies and clothing to children and teens who are underprivileged. With your help in support, you’ll be making our dreams come true, and in turn we hope to make the dreams of many others come true.

So, What did JOSEF “Z3F” DREAMZ do before he started making music?

Before I started making music, you could most commonly find me performing on various stages throughout the Columbia Metropolitan Area. Before I began recording, I’d appeared in over 100 local theatre/dance production in various capacities. But mostly, I was onstage ACTING. Also found my way into filming as an extra in a couple movies including KEVIN BANCON’s DEATH SENTENCE.

How did it all begin?

Like many young black artists, my  artistic career began in the Church. From a young age my parents had me actively involved in church. I sang on the choir, I read scriptures and poems on special occasions, I even praise danced for a short stint. Somewhere through praising God, I discovered a talent for performing and singing. Ever since then, my thirst to be on stage has gone hand in hand with my spirituality!

We are a young business, so that means we need as much support as possible to make this business venture fruitful. We’ve been working hard to purchase the equipment necessary to open and to fund the small renovations that will make our location suitable for recording high-quality music and producing professional videos!
